Tracy Robertson began her nursing career in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Memorial Hospital in 2007 while attending Chattanooga State Technical Community College (CSTCC) to obtain her Associates Degree of Nursing. She became a Tennessee Registered Nurse in 2008 and continued to work in the Medical ICU at Memorial Hospital until 2010 when she transferred to the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Memorial Hospital as a Charge Nurse. She also worked as an Adjunct Nursing Clinical Instructor for CSTCC in 2011. She then attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2012. A short time later she began her studies at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee and graduated with her Masters of Science in Nursing in December 2014 as a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She became a Tennessee Board Certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP-BC) in April 2014 and is credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Her true passion has always been the coordinated chaos of ICU, especially cardiovascular surgery and has worked extensively with extra corpuscular membrane oxygenation (ECMO), continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) patients. She has also worked as a research coordinator and conducted a large retrospective research study related to cardiovascular surgery. She has worked for Dr. Richard Morrison since June 2015 as an AG-ACNP-BC. When not at work, Tracy and her husband enjoy spending time with family, outdoors and traveling.
Brittany Pryor is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, licensed by the state of Tennessee and specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Brittany began her career in healthcare at the age of sixteen as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Emergency Department and on the Medical/ Surgical Unit at Rhea County Hospital. She graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan University with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing where she was inducted in Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and received the Tennessee Nursing Association Student Award. She also had the honor of being State President for the Tennessee Association of Student Nurses where she worked closely with the Tennessee Nursing Association representing nursing students on both a state and national level. After graduation, she began her nursing career on the Cardiac Step Down Unit at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. While caring for people with chronic cardiac illness, Brittany was inspired and encouraged to continue her education at King University and complete her Master’s degree. A short time later she passed her state board examination, officially becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her passion has always been cardiac nursing and treating her patient’s with respect, compassion, and understanding.
Brittany and her husband Nathan reside in Chattanooga. When away from work, she is active in her church and community outreach. She loves to travel and spend time with her family.
Laura Ledbetter began her nursing career in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Memorial Hospital in 2004 while attending the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga School of Nursing. She graduated Valedictorian of the School of Nursing, Magna Cum Laude. She was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society while being President of her class. She was a member of multiple honor societies including Alpha Society, Mortar Board, Beta Beta Beta, Alpha Lambda Delta, Phi Eta Sigma, and Golden Key. She was awarded outstanding Senior Student. She worked as a Registered Nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Memorial for 2 years prior to starting to work for Dr. Richard Morrison in 2006. She has continued to work for him as his nurse for the past 10 years. Over the last year, her role has shifted into Practice Administrator. She is a native of Chattanooga, enjoying her off time with her husband and two sons. She and her husband, Josh, are Executive Directors of Grayson’s Ladder. Her hobbies include running, shopping and time with her family.
